Deputy PM says 200 bln rbl worth projs need 200,000 specialists

INNOPOLIS, Tatarstan, Nov 28 (PRIME) -- Russia will need more than 200,000 new specialists for 216 to replace 200 billion rubles of software under the industrial centers of excellence, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko said on November 25 at the Digital Innopolis Day forum.

“The government commission has already approved 216 projects, whose implementation will need over 200,000 new specialists. It is a gigantic number of projects totaling over 200 billion rubles,” Chernyshenko said.

The country has set up 43 centers of excellence to replace imports that united over 300 market leaders. They chose the software programs that will replace all foreign industrial programs, he added.

These investments are made in the industry with a strong potential, and the companies and the government want the quality of national solutions to exceed those of the replaced programs, Chernyshenko said.
